OHSU Acquires Massive 3T, 7T, and 12T MRIs from Siemens
Oregon Health &
Science University’s (OHSU) new Advanced Imaging Research Center (AIRC)
has recently added a second 3T machine to a similar machine already
in place, and is currently commissioning a massive new 7T system.
In addition, a 12T animal research system is on order. All three
systems were supplied by Siemens Medical Solutions as part of a
package deal worth approximately $14M.

"Superconductor Week
has a three-fold
mission:
to advance the goals of our readers
by a critical
perspective on low- and high- Tc superconductors and cryogenics; to promote the
industry by spreading information and insight to the broadest possible audience;
and to provide
a platform for the free exchange of ideas and news within the
superconductivity community."
